In 2018, brand new turf was installed that covers the entire home plate area and continues down the first and third base lines. The new turf also covers all of the foul territory from first base/third base to each respective dugout and from home plate to the backstop. In the turf directly behind home plate now reads EAGLES in white with a Hinds maroon outline.

In the fall of 2019, the infield playing surface and pitcher's mound was professionally redone to make the Moss one of the best surfaces to play on in the MACCC.
